Preparing charts for a supervised markup hour

What to print, what to hide, and how many lines to keep before you sit with an instructor.

Arrive with one market, not five. Export or print the daily chart covering three months and the four-hour chart covering six weeks. Hide oscillators for the first pass; volume may stay if you habitually use it to confirm rejection.

Limit yourself to five horizontal marks before the session starts. The instructor needs to see your current judgment, not a blank canvas and not a spiderweb. Label each line with the date of the touch that convinced you. That small annotation turns a vague “I felt it was important” into something we can argue about productively.
